All kinds of art! Have paints...will travel.
A lifelong artist, I am a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native. I believe in creativity, and not limiting yourself to one type of art or genre. I allow myself to explore different mediums to expand and enjoy my art. A graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, I also attended Lyme Academy College of Fine Art in Old Lyme, Connecticut, and have studied with some very accomplished artists over the years.
I was awarded an Artist-In-Residency in 2004 in Ciudad Colon, Costa Rica, at the Julia and David White Artist Colony for one month where I worked alongside multi-disciplinary artists in a creative and beautiful environment.
Also in 2004 I illustrated a children's book "It's Always a Good Day for Crabbing" by Karin Whiting Burgess, published by Flat Hammock Press in Mystic, Connecticut. Check Amazon.
My mediums include oils, acrylics, mixed media, children's book illustration, furniture painting, upcycled musical instruments, ink drawings, paper mache sculpture, murals, both residential and commercial, signage (interior usually) and other miscellaneous odd and creative endeavors.
I have exhibited in solo shows, two person shows, and group shows. My art is in collections in the United States and internationally.
